Today is Gimly’s first anniversary. Time for a recap of some of the highlights in Gimly’s most exciting projects and inspiring partnerships in self-sovereign identity, supply chain, IoT, and made for blockchain NFC technology.

Gimly is participating with Off-Blocks and Sphereon in eSSIf-lab, the European innovation programme for self-sovereign identities (SSI). The team will implement DIDs and VCs in the Off-Blocks application for digital identities and signatures, allowing businesses to leverage SSI functionalities in a seamless user interface.

Gimly provides development teams with Tangem made-for-blockchain NFC chips, allowing physical objects and beings to interact securely and directly with digital blockchains. No third layer, cloud service, or back-end needed for key management and signature generation.

Gimly is appointed by Europechain to develop MyD - a secure identity and login application. MyD contains a secure and self-sovereign data vault, and provides a user friendly interface to interact with the Europechain blockchain and with any Europechain application. MyD is built on EOSio technology, and follows W3C standards on verifiable credentials and decentralised identifiers for full interoperability with the evolving SSI ecosystem.

Gimly is proud to have been awarded a Lisk Builders Grant, for the development of an exciting proof-of-concept with the Lisk SDK. The Lisk SDK enables JavaScript developers to easily build blockchain applications powered by custom transactions. In this new project, Gimly will be working with Thomas Modeneis, Blockchain030, and the Lisk Center Utrecht on a novel approach to securely connecting physical objects and digital blockchains, powered by innovative chip-to-chain technology.
